Collaborative Emergence highlights collective outcome from decentralized interactions leading into unexpected third alternative and creating novel concepts. In team-level open dialogue each turn of dialogue may change the course interaction into new and unpredictable direction (i.e. each other interprets others views differently or from different perspectives) – dialogue between different perspectives and reflections. Emergence may happen during collective or creative interpretation, reflective thinking, dialectics, or synergistic communication. It needs distributed cognition i.e. collaborative emergence arises from collective cognition and imagination. It is a result from collaborating groups and cohesive teams offering potential new solutions generation. It may happen even in interdisciplinary teams creating new insights and solution by sharing knowledge from boundary areas by exploiting collective intelligence of these teams.
